He has been very attentive to the actual words being said, especially when they don't seem to make sense to him...
Why is it called a "restaurant"?
How do they make couches?
Why are they called "fireworks"? Is it because they are made from fire?
Why is it called a kitchen? Why do we have them?
I just try to get him to answer the question and see what his little creative mind can come up with and then we look it up if we can't figure it out. My dad used to tell us to "look it up" if we asked questions like that, so I'm trying to teach him the same concept. I am so glad we got him an atlas and a dictionary for Christmas last year!!! They have really come in handy as does the internet. Do you know the answers??

How long do they ask these questions? Brittan has just started asking questions and it never ends. We can't even get through a book anymore (why is his name Fred? Why are they wearing those clothes? Why are they at home? Where is his mom...). An atlas and a dictionary are good ideas.
