Happy Easter!

We had a fun, yet simple Easter. The kids went to an "easter egg hunt" on Saturday, but because there is still 18 inches of snow in the field it wasn't a true hunt. They actually lined up in the parking lot of the high school (where the hunt was to take place) and did a sort of "trunk-or-treat" thing instead: people handed out candy from a bag. Man was Bryant disappointed and might I add a little angry that he could not demonstrate his egg-finding skills! He really wanted to find "real" eggs.

The Easter bunny visited our house and put the kids' baskets next to their beds so they would see them when they awoke. Bryant woke everyone up to show them what he got. Kayelynn was so thrilled the Easter bunny would remember her that she just rummaged her basket relishing what she got. Sarah was the smartest-she found the candy and got into it herself-why would she call for anyone to get her out of the crib when she could eat as much candy as she wanted without it getting taken away-HA! she makes me laugh.
They each got some sort of bubbles and the girls each got two rings filled with lip gloss!
