Nursing???
Eastern Idaho Technical College announced that they would send out the acceptance letters for the practical nursing program at the end of March...we have been waiting all month anticipating the day it would come in the mail and if finally arrived on Saturday afternoon (the last day of the month, of course). The day has finally come and now Jake is more nervous than ever...the letter is opened and sure enough the first word is CONGRATULATIONS! Jake made it into the full-time practical nursing program! He will start May 22nd and will attend school during the summer on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week from 8am-2:30pm. Once fall arrives he will be in school every day, all day and receive his LPN this time next year! It was a happy day yesterday. (Jake actually slept the whole night without an anxiety attack) :)

we won't be moving for this part of schooling, EITC is in Idaho Falls, so he'll only have to travel 25 min. away.
Wonderful!!! Keep up the good work! We Thornocks have sometimes taken the long route to our goals...but the only thing that matters is finishing. Rock on, big Jake!
