Quote of the week

"the Holy Ghost said I could..."
-Bryant

Disclaimer: Bryant has been learning about the Holy Ghost and has learned that He will tell you things in your heart. He has decided that whenever we ask why he has chosen a specific act as being good or even so far as to why he has chosen a specific snack that it's just because the Holy Ghost said so. Teaching children right and wrong is a lot harder than it seems, especially when their yours and you are ultimately responsible for their learning.

BIRTHDAY

Kayelynn had such a fun birthday. Here are some of the pictures. I don't have any of the kitchen yet, but these are fun. Sarah loves cake and Kayelynn is thrilled with the items she unwrapped. Enjoy these photos.

A few sample pictures

It's been quite a while since we've had pictures taken of us all. For some reason, we didn't have a very good session, but there were a few that turned out of the kids. We're going to have to get some better shots of the family in a few weeks. Here are a few to sample.

We're still alive

Okay, so it's been a while. I knew that would be the problem once I established a family blog; I would feel that I have nothing to say. I love reading other family member blogs and enjoy knowing what happens in their day, however, we are not as fortunate as to have such new and facinating experiences happen in our family, so it may still take some time getting used to writing something here and there.

Kayelynn and Sarah share a similar milestone since they are 18 months apart; therefore Kayelynn turned 2 on the 24th and Sarah is now 6 months old as of the same day. It's fun to see how much they are growing. Kayelynn has a vocabulary that is blooming and Sarah is a ball of fun.

We had a small birthday party with the 5 of us on the 24th and the best gift that night was the Cinderella 3 movie that Bryant gave her (he thinks he's the best brother in the world). Kayelynn is really into the Disney princesses, especially Cinderella. She later received a Cinderella dress up outfit-she wore it all day! Last Wednesday we had an extended family party and she received a toy kitchen-that has been the best entertaining gift any of our kids have ever received!!! She plays with the kitchen at Jodi's so much we thought we would get her her own-that was the best decision! Kayelynn loves baths and the Mermaid set she received was a hit in the bathtub!!! We don't have our pictures from either party back yet so they will be added with the next post, if I can figure out how to do that (so see you have something to look forward to, knowing it won't be a month away).

Nursing school...

I just can't hold this in any longer. Jake took his qualifying test on Saturday and passed with flying colors! He needed to have a score in four areas of 60% or above on national ranking, he got in the 90% in all four areas!!!!!! Looks like he is proving that he has the ambition to be the best in what he has chosen to do. He will start his LPN program in May! We are so excited, he is on his way to the career he wants to have. I'm sure he'll post something with a little more description and explanation. Nursing, here comes Jake!!

Welcome

Well, we wanted to be able to let family and friends know what's going on with our lives quickly without having to scrounge up all the addresses and send a letter. We hope this will work. We will slowly get this going so you can get an update more often than not. Keep checking for our posts.
